Who is responsible
Algorithmia SE, based in Lagos, Nigeria, is responsible for the personal data collected through algorithmia-se.com. For any privacy question or request, email hello@algorithmia-se.com.
What we collect and why
We only collect what you choose to send us.
- Newsletter: your name and email address, so we can send you updates.
- Contact form: your name, email address, organization, subject and message, so we can read and reply to your message. If the form opens your email app instead, your message reaches us as a normal email.
We use this data only for those purposes. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes it
Newsletter sign-ups and contact messages are sent to systems run by Algorithmia SE. Email you send us is handled by our email provider. The website itself is hosted on Vercel, which records standard server logs such as IP addresses.
The Smart ATS page has a demo video hosted on YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. If you do, the video is served from youtube-nocookie.com, and YouTube may store data in your browser.
Some of these providers process data outside Nigeria, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Contact messages are kept for as long as they are needed for the conversation they belong to, or until you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy,
- correct it,
- delete it,
- stop using it, or object to how we use it.
Email hello@algorithmia-se.com with your request. We may need to confirm it is you before we act. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use cookies, and it does not run analytics. The only thing it stores in your browser is your scroll position on each page, in session storage, so the back button returns you to the same spot. It is cleared when you close the tab.
Smart ATS
Smart ATS at smart-ats.algorithmia-se.com is a separate service. It processes the CVs and job descriptions you upload. This notice covers only this website. For questions about Smart ATS and your data, email hello@algorithmia-se.com.
Changes
If we change how this website handles personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
